Customizing

Filters

These are applied via the Sage CRM Translations area.

You can apply custom filters to the data based on another field

EG for company:

 Family: _crmtconfig
 code: ctCompFilterMXPlus
 US Translation:(comp_accpac_codeslsp1='#portaluserid#')

1. portaluserid# will be replaced with the MX Plus users name

Other codes are EG

 ctOppoFilterMXPlus
 ctOrderQuoteFilterMXPlus
 ctPersFilterMXPlus

To create user level codes you append the username to the end of the code

EG on opportunity for a user called "House"

 Family: _crmtconfig
 code: ctOppoFilterMXPlusHouse	
 US Translation: (oppo_accpac_codeslsp1 in ('house','frank') or oppo_accpac_codeslsp2 in ('house','frank'))

Note that opportunity filters are applied to quotes and orders

An example of where a user can view an opportunity but not the company/person is below. They can see the Names but the icon is disabled and cannot be clicked.
